CWC Super 8 in Grenada!
Today is the first Super 8 match in Grenada - Windies vs South Africa. The moment we have been waiting for!
Well it's 8:30am and so far there appears to be only light traffic on the road. Here's a pretty poor picture of Tanteen Playing Field which has been desgnated as one of the official parking lots; from here you must hop a shuttle for the onward trip to the stadium. As you can see there are not many cars in the lot. Yet.
Now here's something you don't see everyday. All of the Windjammer yachts in harbour at the same time! I suspect they may be part of the "floating hotel" thing.
And to add a little bit of perspective, behind this hill (Cemetery Hill, Old Fort Road) lies the stadium.
I might take a ride around today for some picture-taking. I'll be sure to post anythng interesting, such as the "friendly match" between the Gov't and Opposition MPs! Hah!
UPDATE: We lost. sigh. Need I type anymore? Why? Why??

With such poor performance by the WI team there is no need to be surprised that support is dwindling! Those buildings are really colourful!
